Sinergi is involved in the implementation of an innovative acceleration programme for start-ups in Niger, Burkina Faso and Senegal, financed by the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

Deployed over a period of 4 years (2016-2020), this program aims to accelerate the development of 52 small businesses in 3 countries of the Sahel (Senegal, Niger, Burkina Faso)

Nature of funding

Seed financing (repayable advance) to support the entrepreneur in the maturation of his project

Tickets of funding

Between 1.3 million FCFA (2000€) and 26 million FCFA (40 000€)

Investment period

24 months maximum

Selection criteria

This program targets start-ups and small companies that meet the following criteria :

Managed by men and women of African nationality or permanently settled in Africa, dedicated fulltime to their business and wishing to collaborate with a group of investors
Operating in the formal economy (legal structure recognized and registered or in the process of formalization) in one of the Burkina Faso, Niger or Senegal
Committed to maximizing their impacts (social and/or environmental) through their business activities and/or improving their practices
